According to Vibe, “Gucci Mane got back on Twitter to apologize for his recent antics and admit that he has a drug problem. His drug of choice? Lean or syrup, which he says he's been drinking for 10 plus years and has "destroyed" him. Still incarcerated, he will be going to rehab”.

There is a lot of misinformation about the scholarship coming from the rapper's PR department which Scott refutes in his research. Scott is also asking college students to ban the "bands to make her dance man" and other ratchet rappers from their institutions of higher learning.
